1. About these terms

These terms apply when you order custom patches from PatchYours through patchyours.com. Placing an order means you accept them. If anything here is unclear, ask us before you order rather than after.

2. Quotes

Quotes are free and carry no obligation. A quote is valid for TODO: e.g. 30 days and assumes the specification you gave us. If the design, size or quantity changes, the price changes with it and we will requote before proceeding.

3. Proofs and approval

We produce a digital proof for every order. You are responsible for checking it carefully — including spelling, colours, dimensions and layout. Production follows the approved proof exactly.

Once you approve a proof, it becomes the agreed specification for your order. If an error was present in the proof you approved, a remake is chargeable. If we deviate from the approved proof, the remake is free.

4. Artwork and intellectual property

By sending us artwork you confirm that you own it or have permission to use it, and that producing it as a patch does not infringe anyone's copyright, trademark or other rights.

You agree to indemnify us against any claim arising from artwork you supplied. We reserve the right to decline any order we believe infringes third-party rights, or that we consider offensive or unlawful.

You keep all rights in your own artwork. We keep the rights in the production files we create from it, and we may show finished work in our portfolio or on social media — just tell us if you would prefer we did not, and we will not.

5. Prices and payment

Prices are quoted in PatchYours's stated currency and exclude shipping, duties and taxes unless the quote says otherwise. Payment is due after proof approval and, unless we have agreed otherwise in writing, before production begins.

6. Production and delivery

Standard production is 7-10 business days after proof approval from proof approval. Delivery estimates are estimates, not guarantees — once a parcel is with the courier, its progress is outside our control. We are not liable for losses caused by courier or customs delays.

7. Quantity tolerance

TODO: Decide whether you want a tolerance clause. Many patch manufacturers reserve a small over- or under-run allowance (commonly ±2% on large orders). If you do, state it here and say how any shortfall is billed or credited. If you always ship the exact quantity ordered, say that instead.

8. Cancellations and returns

You may cancel free of charge at any time before approving your proof. After production begins, custom orders cannot be cancelled or returned for a change of mind, because they cannot be resold. Faulty or incorrect goods are covered by our shipping and returns policy.

9. Colour accuracy

Screens vary, and thread, felt and PVC each reproduce colour differently. We match as closely as the material allows and will tell you honestly what to expect. Minor colour variation between a screen proof and the finished patch is not a defect.

10. Liability

Our liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profit or the cost of an event going ahead without your patches. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of TODO: your country / state, and any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
