Who we are
PatchYours ("we", "us") operates patchyours.com. If you have any question about how we handle your information, contact us at patchyours@gmail.com.
What we collect
We only collect what we need in order to quote for and fulfil your order:
- Contact details — your name, email address, phone number and company, when you submit a quote request or contact form.
- Order details — the patch type, size, quantity, backing and notes you send us.
- Artwork — any files you upload or email to us.
- Delivery details — the shipping address you provide for your order.
- Basic technical data — TODO: state here whether you use analytics. If you add Google Analytics, Plausible or similar, it must be disclosed on this line.
We do not collect or store your payment card details. Payments are handled by our payment provider, and card information goes directly to them, never to us.
Why we use it
- To prepare your quote and digital proof
- To produce and ship your order
- To reply to your questions
- To keep your design on file so reorders match, unless you ask us not to
- To meet our legal and accounting obligations
We do not send marketing emails unless you have specifically asked us to, and we never sell or rent your personal information to anyone.
Who else sees your data
We share the minimum necessary with the services that make the business run:
- Form delivery — Web3Forms passes your form submission to our inbox.
- File storage — Cloudinary stores artwork you upload through the quote form.
- Shipping couriers — your name and delivery address, so your parcel arrives.
- Payment provider — TODO: name the provider you use, e.g. Stripe or PayPal.
- Hosting — TODO: name your host, e.g. Vercel or Cloudflare.
How long we keep it
Order records and artwork are kept for TODO: e.g. 3 years, so that reorders match and so we can meet accounting requirements. Quote requests that do not become orders are kept for TODO: e.g. 12 months. You can ask us to delete your data sooner at any time.
Your rights
You can ask us to show you the data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop using it. Email patchyours@gmail.com and we will respond within 30 days. If you are in the UK or EU, you also have the right to complain to your national data protection authority.
Cookies
TODO: If your site sets no cookies beyond what is strictly necessary, say so here. If you later add analytics or advertising pixels, you must update this section and, for UK and EU visitors, add a consent banner before those cookies load.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS and we limit access to order data to the people who need it. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect what you send us.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be highlighted on the site.
