What patches cost
Patch pricing depends on four things: the technique, the size, the quantity and the complexity of the design. Bigger runs cost dramatically less per patch — that is the single biggest lever on your price.
They assume a straightforward design with standard thread and your choice of backing included. Heavy detail, specialty threads or unusual shapes can move the number — which is why your quote is always the price that counts.
Prices are per patch in US dollars and include free artwork setup, free digitising and a free digital proof. Your exact price comes from your quote.

How to get your price down
Order more at once
This is the big one. Setup work is the same whether we make 25 or 250, so the cost per patch falls steeply as quantity rises. If you will need more within the year, ordering together saves real money.
Go a little smaller
Price scales with area, not width. Dropping a patch from 4 inches to 3 removes almost half the material and stitching.
Simplify the design
Very fine detail and high colour counts add production time. We will tell you at proof stage if simplifying would save you money without hurting the look.
Skip the rush
Standard turnaround is 7-10 business days after proof approval. If you can plan ahead, you avoid rush fees entirely.
